These Nguni Cow horn scrimshaw keychains are hand-carved with images of African safari animals by the Shona artisans in Zimbabwe, South Africa. The horns come from local Nguni cows found in Southern Africa but are more known to the Zulu people of South Africa. The carved keychains are set in the natural color of the horn  The artisan used scrimshaw style sketching to carve animals into the keychain. These cow horns have been carved and etched by the Shona artisans using hand tools. African Nguni Cow Horn keychains from Zimbabwe make wonderful unique gifts.
