Due to the recent increase in lost and stolen packages within the mail system, we strongly recommend opting for shipping insurance when placing your order. Shipping insurance is pre-selected for you at checkout, so by taking no action, your order will be covered.

Benefits of Shipping Insurance:

  • Receive a refund or replacement at no additional cost if your package is lost, stolen, or damaged.
  • A package is considered "lost" if there are no shipping updates on the tracking information for more than 7 days.

Refunds and Replacements

Refunds and replacements under the A Taste Of Africa Protection Policy are available only for purchases made directly through A Taste Of Africa.

  • If you purchased your item from a retail store or another online partner, please contact them directly to arrange an exchange or request a refund.

Filing a Claim with USPS

Shipping insurance is optional, and you are not required to purchase it. However, if your package is lost, damaged, or missing contents during transit and you did not purchase shipping insurance, you will need to contact the United States Postal Service (USPS) directly to file a claim.
