Please allow up to 48 hours for your order to be processed, packaged, and shipped from our facility. This does not include shipping time. Any differences to this will be listed either in an update on this page (seasonal delays, unexpected volume increases, etc) or in each product description (preorders, backordered items, etc). When you select a shipping option, please note that this is the time it takes within the mail system after your order has been processed and packaged.
ALL INTERNATIONAL SALES ARE FINAL
International orders can take up to 20 days to be delivered. Please note shipping times may vary by country and are not guaranteed. However, depending on the location, customs fees, VAT charges and other restrictions may apply. The customer the product is shipped to is solely responsible for all local import duties and taxes imposed by their country. We have no control over this. The customer will need to speak with the shipping/delivery company in their country concerning these fees. Customs/duty and VAT charges cannot be removed or altered by us.
Once the package leaves the United States, we don't have good visibility on it, as not all countries update with tracking information. International orders are shipped via United States Postal Service (USPS) First Class International. A tracking link for your package is located within your shipping confirmation email. Please note that some countries’ couriers do not update on the USPS website.
LOST, STOLEN, OR DAMAGED ITEMS
Due to the unprecedented number of lost and stolen packages in the mail system lately, we strongly suggest that you opt-in to include shipping insurance for your orders at this time. It is already pre-selected for you at checkout, so by taking no action, you are covered. Purchasing Shipping Insurance at checkout will allow you to have your order refunded or replaced at no cost if it is lost, stolen, or damaged. "Lost" can also be considered no shipping updates on the tracking info for more than 7 days. To be considered for a refund or replacement item, the A Taste Of Africa Protection policy requires any issues to be reported within 15 days of the delivery date, as stated by your order's tracking info.
Refunds and replacements will only be issued if the purchase was made directly through A Taste Of Africa. If you purchased your product at a retail store or another online partner, you would need to contact them directly to either exchange the product(s) or to obtain a refund.
Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund. If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a certain amount of days.
FINAL SALE ITEMS
Only regular priced items may be refunded, unfortunately, sale items cannot be refunded.
In order to protect our employees and our customers from any additional risk, we have made the decision to change portions of our merchandise return policy.
We will not be accepting returns of any Skincare, Haircare, Other Body Care products, Scents, Herbs, Face Masks, and Jewelry until further notice.
This policy is consistent at all our stores, as well as with all our competitors. Once any of the products listed above have left our facility, we cannot accept them back and issue a refund.
EXCHANGES AND RETURNS:
Items can be exchanged within 30 days of receiving your order as long as the items are in the same condition you received them in. To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused, undamaged, and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging.
We do not pay for the cost of return shipping or for the cost of shipping the new items. Please email us at email@example.com to arrange your exchange. Once the returned items are received, we will ship the new items.
Note: Our most common reason for an exchange is that a basket is too large, so please double-check the measurements for your space before ordering.
