Yes. Every piece at A Taste Of Africa is handcrafted by skilled artisans across Africa. No two items are exactly alike, making each piece a unique work of art.
Will my item look exactly like the photo?
Not exactly—and that’s part of the beauty. Due to the handmade nature of our products, slight variations in color, shape, or detail may occur. Each piece is one-of-a-kind.
Are your sculptures one-of-a-kind?
Many of our Shona stone sculptures and art pieces are one-of-a-kind. Once sold, they are typically not restocked in the exact same form.
What materials are used in your products?
Our items are made using a variety of natural and traditional materials including:

At this time, A Taste Of Africa ships within the United States only. We currently do not offer international shipping.

Original shipping and insurance costs are non-refundable. Customers are responsible for return shipping costs.

What does "one size fits most" mean for kaftans?
Our kaftans are designed with a loose, flowing fit that comfortably fits US sizes 6-16. The approximate measurements are:
- Length: 52-54 inches
- Bust: Fits up to 48 inches
- Wide, flowing sleeves for comfort.
How do I care for my kaftan?
Hand wash cold, hang dry, and iron on low heat if needed. Avoid harsh detergents to preserve the vibrant colors.
